Four outings come up all the time, from the shortest to the most committed.
**The ramparts and the Sillon** : the tour of the intra-muros then the dike to Rothéneuf, about an hour and a half, entirely flat, doable with any bike. This is the arrival day outing.
**Dinard** : the sea bus crosses the estuary in about ten minutes, from late March to mid-November. By road, passing by the Rance dam, count a loop of about fifty kilometers.
**Cancale via Pointe du Grouin** : about twenty kilometers one way along the coast, forty in a loop, with short but repeated climbs. The day with an oyster break. If you are unsure of your condition for this profile, take an electric bike: see the page Saint-Malo electric bike rental.
**The Vélomaritime** : the cycling route along the English Channel passes through Saint-Malo. You can do a section of it in a day, or make it the start of a real journey.
With children too young for the distance, a cargo bike carries two and makes the Sillon accessible to families: see the page Saint-Malo cargo bike rental.
