🌊 Leave the port of Erquy via beautiful, hilly coastal roads. The beginning of this stage on the Vélomaritime quickly takes you to the seaside resort of Pléneuf-Val-André, perfect for an ice cream break, before admiring the colourful reflections of the boats in the charming little port of Dahouët.
🦅 Following the rugged coast, you will reach the back of the Bay of Saint-Brieuc at the Yffiniac cove. This marsh landscape, classified as a nature reserve, is a prime spot for observing numerous bird species in a preserved setting.
🚂 The arrival in Saint-Brieuc is a gentle ride along the former route of the "little train of the north coasts". This exceptional heritage, repurposed for bicycles, with its viaducts and passages carved into the rock, offers you a spectacular and easy end to your journey.

🌊 Leave the historic center of Saint-Brieuc to reach the Penthièvre coast, sculpted by the relentless tides. You will quickly reach the charming port of Binic, "the beauty spot of the Côtes-d'Armor," a refreshing stop on the Vélomaritime by bike.
🦅 The route then gains elevation on the Goëlo cliffs. Taking the scenic backroads, you reach the famous Plouha cliffs, the highest point on the Breton coastline. This is one of the most spectacular moments of your Saint-Malo - Roscoff cycling journey, offering an unobstructed view of the English Channel.

⚓ Leave one of the busiest ports on the English Channel to cross the surrounding countryside of Paimpol. You will quickly reach Lézardrieux, perched on the edge of the wide Trieux valley, offering superb viewpoints.
🏰 After crossing the Jaudy river, you will discover Tréguier. This "Small Town of Character" (Petite Cité de Caractère) charms with its dense historic architecture and represents a major cultural stop along the Vélomaritime by bike.
🌿 The rest of the route alternates between bucolic country lanes and former repurposed railway tracks. These greenways help soften the hilly terrain of this stage of the Saint-Malo - Roscoff cycling trip until you arrive at the Pink Granite Coast.

🚲 Continue your Saint-Malo - Roscoff cycling journey with this grandiose 63 km stage linking Perros-Guirec to Plougasnou. A route between sea and heritage that crosses the iconic landscapes of the Pink Granite Coast.
🌊 Departure from Perros-Guirec. Before setting off, the site of Ploumanac’h is a must-see: its granite boulders offer the most striking spectacle on the Vélomaritime by bike.
🏙️ After about ten kilometers, you reach Lannion to cross the Léguer river. Put your bike down to stroll through the cobbled streets and admire the half-timbered houses of this historic town, a cultural stop on your Saint-Malo - Roscoff cycling trip.
🌿 Returning to the coast, pass the "Grand Rocher" (Great Rock) in Plestin before following the vast Grève de Saint-Michel. In the middle of the immense beach stands the "Croix de Mi-lieue" (Mid-way Cross), a historical landmark for travelers of old, replanted here in 1993.
