After a great first stage, we’re back at it with a 50 km cycling trip between Versailles and Rambouillet, through forests, charming villages, and historic chateaus.
🌳 The Start: We leave Versailles smoothly, enjoying one last look at the palace and its gardens before heading onto cycle paths and quiet roads.
🚵♂️ Today's Challenge: On the border between Magny-les-Hameaux and Saint-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse, the climb of Chemin de la Butte aux Buis remains tough despite its redevelopment. There’s no shame in hopping off and walking!
🏡 Cultural Break: Stop at Saint-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse to discover the Raymond Devos house-museum, where humor and history blend in the artist's former home.
🏰 Chevreuse and its treasures: Take the time to explore the "balade des petits ponts" (little bridges walk) or climb up to the Château de la Madeleine for a breathtaking view of the valley.
