🚲 Before joining the official route of **La Régalante by Bike**, everything begins in Saint-Malo. Rent your bike in Saint-Malo and follow the Bay of Mont-Saint-Michel. This flat and windy route offers spectacular views of the “Wonder.”
🌊 You leave the corsair city to follow the Vélomaritime. Between polders and tidal flats, the silhouette of the archangel gradually appears on the horizon, marking the true starting point of your adventure.
🏰 Arriving at the foot of Mont-Saint-Michel is a magical moment. Take advantage of the late afternoon to visit the abbey or wander through the narrow streets before heading to your accommodation.

🚲 This is the big departure on the La Régalante by Bike route! This stage of around 51 km takes you from sea spray to the heart of the Breton countryside, on a journey to conquer historic fortresses.

🌿 Leave Mont-Saint-Michel behind for a must-do stage at the border between Normandy and Brittany. The cycle path first leads you toward Maen Roch, through a peaceful hedgerow landscape ensured by the La Régalante by Bike route.
🛡️ The second part of the stage is a deep dive into history. You ride 19 km toward Fougères, with a spectacular arrival facing the largest fortress in Europe, true guardian of the Marches of Brittany.

🚲 Continue your epic journey on La Régalante by Bike with this rich stage of around 57 km—an exceptional link between medieval towns and refined rural landscapes.
🏰 The route winds through the heart of the countryside toward Vitré. Dotted with former railway stations such as La Selle-en-Luitré, this section of La Régalante by Bike opens onto a true postcard scene: Vitré and its majestic castle, a Town of Art and History.
🌳 After this medieval stop, the itinerary takes on a “rural chic” feel. Lift your eyes from the handlebars to admire the Château des Tesnières or the listed church. This is a stage full of character as the route heads south.
🍽️ You arrive in La Guerche-de-Bretagne, a Petite Cité de Caractère® renowned for its gastronomy. This is the ultimate gourmet stage of your journey.

🚲 Continue heading south on La Régalante by Bike with this stage of around 61 km. On the program: enchanting nature, sustainable development, and an immersion between art and history.
🧚♀️ The beginning of the stage toward Martigné-Ferchaud calls upon fairies and nature. You ride through reimagined landscapes where sustainable cities are the common thread. A section of La Régalante by Bike that truly breathes ecological modernity.
🌳 On the way to Châteaubriant, the scenery changes. The route plunges into the heart of the countryside, under the welcome shade of trees. It’s the perfect moment for a contemplative ride to the gateway of Loire-Atlantique.
🏰 Châteaubriant welcomes you at the crossroads of Brittany and the Pays de la Loire. Steeped in history, its medieval and Renaissance château is the highlight of the day.

🚲 The penultimate day on La Régalante by Bike covers around 64 km. Today’s motto: slow down to truly feel the journey, following the water and lush green landscapes.
💧 Leave Châteaubriant to reach La Meilleraye-de-Bretagne. This section of La Régalante by Bike invites you to escape alongside lakes, rivers, and channels—a smooth and soothing ride.
🌿 The next stretch toward Nort-sur-Erdre is a true ode to nature. You pass through marshlands and luxuriant greenery. This is the “zen” stage of the journey, gently bringing you closer to the Nantes metropolitan area.
⚓ Arrival in Nort-sur-Erdre, with its marina and natural setting, marks the end of the crossing through the inland countryside.

🚲 This is the grand finale of your journey on La Régalante by Bike! This final 34 km stage takes you straight into the heart of the capital of the Dukes of Brittany.
🛶 This last stretch still holds some unusual discoveries. You ride along the Erdre River, which Francis I described as “the most beautiful river in France.” Castles and manor houses line the banks, creating a regal backdrop for your final pedal strokes.
🐘 Entering Nantes is a smooth and pleasant experience. The city, named European Green Capital, welcomes you with its cycle paths leading to the Château of the Dukes of Brittany and the Machines of the Isle. You have conquered La Régalante by Bike!
