Yes, for now, all our bike trips are in France.

However, we do not rule out offering bike trips to connect France with another country in the future. Let us know if you have a trip in mind that we do not yet offer at our bike travel agency.

To select our bike trips, we rely on itineraries developed and regularly updated by France Vélo Tourisme.
These are therefore only bike trips that are marked, secure, and maintained throughout the year.

To organize your bike vacation, here are the 5 steps we recommend at DolceVia:

• - Clearly determine your expectations for this bike trip (number of days, elevation, number of km per day, type of bike, budget, etc.)
• - Identify the geographical area you want to discover. You can of course draw inspiration from the bike trip suggestions above on this page.
• - Take the time to plan your bike trip, especially accommodations. You can use our bike travel planner to save time.
• - Anticipate the logistics, especially regarding the return from your trip, the return by train, or the return of your bike rental, etc.
• - Prepare your equipment saddlebags, shorts, lighting, locks, etc. If you lack certain items, we can lend you quality equipment.

The reasons for taking a cycle tourism trip are (very) numerous. To name just a few:

• - It's a moment of total disconnection, allowing you to take your time and completely unwind.
  
• - At the same time, you'll be engaging in physical activity (even if you use an electric bike), which will only enhance your sense of well-being and joy upon returning from your trip.
• - You'll have the opportunity to discover beautiful landscapes, and regions that you don't know or know little about.
• - All this while limiting your ecological footprint and supporting local tourism.
